Hi everyone!
Happy Monday! On Friday, I shared how I find inspiration for crafting. One of those ways is to use the Stampin' Up! catalogs. The catalogs have a ton of samples that are there to inspire you!
For today's card, I took inspiration from the sample for the Special Reason Bundle. You can find this bundle in the 2017 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. Click here to request a copy!
I absolutely love the design of this bag! I decided to turn it into a card with a few twists :)
You guys probably know this by now, but when I do a floral card, I love to use Night of Navy, Flirty Flamingo and Cucumber Crush. I also try to add in silver or gold. For today's card, I used a piece of the Silver Glimmer Paper and used the Banner Triple Punch to make the piece into a flag. I am using it in place of the embossed flag on the bag.
I used Flirty Flamingo and Cucumber Crush ink to stamp the flowers and leaves. I love the tone on tone effect of stamping with the same color ink as the cardstock.
I finished by embossing the frame with silver embossing powder and stamped the sentiment using Night of Navy. The Metallic Ribbon from the Sale-a-bration catalog add just the right finishing touch!
