Stampin' Up! Jar of Love Series Project #1

Hello friends!

I asked on Facebook what bundle you wanted to see next and everyone said the Jar of Love bundle from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  Truth is....I don't blame you!

This is set is fantastic!  The bundle is a great value.  You get a ton of stamps and dies with almost limitless possibilities.

I knew that I wanted a wood grain background for this first project.  However, I do not have the Hardwood Background Stamp.  I didn't want a lot of texture so the Woodgrain Textured Impression Embossing Folder was out.  Luckily, I remembered the Smoky Slate woodgrain patterned paper from the Foxy Friends Designer Series Paper Stack!

How gorgeous is that wood grain?  So pretty! For the jar, I used Soft Sky ink for the outline of the jar and the fill stamp.

I knew that I wanted to use Sweet Sugarplum on this card and have that color stand out amongst the others in this bouquet.  In order to achieve a 3-d appearance with this bouquet, I stamped the same flowers in Sweet Sugarplum and Pink Pirouette

I used one of the Metal Rimmed Buttons as the "door hanger" for the bouquet.  To make it stand out more, I added a small piece of Stampin' Dimensionals

Finally,  I just couldn't help myself!  I had to use a piece of this Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon from the new 2016 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog that goes live September 1st, 2016!  Request your copy by clicking here.

As always, you can find the video and the supplies down below!  Thank you for stopping by!
