What's Up! for Operation Write Home OWH

Happy Saturday everyone :)

I'm back today with another card set I created to send in to Operation Write Home.  I wanted to make a hello card and once I found the sketch I knew the image I had to use!

I love this cute little dog image and I love how he looks like he's flying through the air on the card.  I did some really simple coloring today!

Festive Friday #8 Mama Elephant and Stampin Up!

Hi everyone,

 I'm back with another Festive Friday video.  Here's another card where I had an idea in my head and it took a little finagling to get it out :)

The very first time I saw this stamp set from Mama Elephant I knew that I wanted to use it on a Christmas card.  I can imagine being in a horse drawn carriage, snuggled up with blankets and hot chocolate and you go looking at Christmas lights.....did I mention I love Christmas time?

I used some Stampin Up! ink to create a night sky with a blending tool.  It really is easy if you use Whisper White paper.  The ink glides on very smoothly!

Stampin Up! Sophisticated Serifs and Irresistibly Yours DSP

Hi everyone,

I'm back today with a set of monogrammed note cards for my friend DeNae over at Big Love, Epic Fail.  DeNae and I met during college and she is one of my biggest supporters!  I created a special set of note cards to show my appreciation for her.

I used the Sophisticated Serifs stamp set and heat embossed using calypso coral, pool party and white embossing powder.  I colored the Irresistibly Yours DSP using a sponge dobber and coral.  I love how this turned out and I hope she does too!
