It's been a while!

I think there is a reason I make my living doing something other than blogging!  I just can't seem to keep up!  However, I hope that what I have to share with you today was worth the wait!

A few months ago, I found an idea on Pinterest of using a Word Find puzzle as wrapping paper.  I immediately realized that I wanted to use that idea except for cards and gift tags.  I purchased an alpha stamp from one of my favorite stamp companies... Lawn Fawn and decided that I would use this design for my Christmas cards for friends and family this year.

Well, life happened...as it likes to do and a couple of months passed before I had an opportunity to break that stamp set out and put it to good use.  I love the results!  You can customize it with any words that you like!  I stuck with a Christmas/Santa theme.  What other words can you find?

I used red and green card stock as my mat, added some red and green baker's twine from the Doodlebug Christmas collection and a button from the dollar bin at Michael"s!

If you've never purchased stamps from Lawn Fawn...please do! I used Harold's ABCs to complete this card.

I'm having an absolute blast making all these cupcake Christmas cards!  Here's a really fun suspension card for your viewing pleasure :)

I just love how this card turned out and I love, love, LOVE the pink, green and turquoise color combo.  If I hadn't already invested in purple and silver, this color combo would be a huge contender for my tree :)

And visions of...cupcakes danced in their heads

When you think of Christmas, you don't normally think of cupcakes.  However, this card will definitely change your mind!

Red and Aqua are such trendy Christmas colors.  They have a retro vibe and provide a modern twist to Christmas card giving and even decorating.  These cards were handcrafted for a customer who's only request was that she had cupcake Christmas cards to distribute this year!  I think any recipient would be ecstatic to receive this card in the mail!

Whew!

What an interesting way to spend my Sunday!  I don't fancy myself a blog designer.  I like to leave that to the professionals.  However, I did take a few hours today and update the blog as promised.  This isn't the finished design, but I figured it was enough to give us a little shake up for the 2012 Holiday Season.

New for the 2012 season will be Christmas/Holiday cards.  We can work together to create a design for your cards or I will have several designs available that you can chose for customization.

As always, we have our custom ornaments!  These ornaments are made to order.  As you can see from the slideshow on the left, even Spiderman can change his colors to match your tree's theme!  Oh, and did I mention that The Jolly Fat Elf's ornaments aren't just for Christmas Trees?  Check out Abrahm's ornament.  His ornament has a spot in his OSU themed nursery.
