Do not adjust your computer screens! Yep, it's Saturday and I have a special bonus video for you today! I made a box. Not only did I make a box, but I designed it and the dimensions all on my own. I am amazed at my crafty prowess today!
The inspiration for this box came from one of the sample boxes that you can purchase from Keurig's website. I enjoy flavored coffee, but I don't want to invest in a large box in case i don't like it. Keurig has sample boxes that come with 5 in each. Looking back, I should have shown you an assortment, but I think you guys know that you can add whatever flavors you like in this box!
The supplies for this box all come from Stampin' Up! I used the Merry Labels bundle from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog and the Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.
I made the base of this box out of a piece of Cherry Cobbler 12 x 12 card stock. You want the base of the box to be really sturdy. I cut my piece down to 5 7/16 x 11 3/16. Both of those measurements are the tiny line before the next quarter inch. 7/16 is the smallest tick mark before 3/4 and 3/16 is the smallest tick mark before 1/4. I scored each side at 1 3/4.
The designer series paper was cut at 4 x 9 3/4 and scored at 1 on all 4 sides. Make sure you watch the video to see how I assembled the box!
I stamped the sentiment using Garden Green ink onto a piece of scrap paper and punched it with the coordinating label punch. Next, I cut down a piece of Cherry Cobbler to 2 x 2 3/4 and used the Tag Topper Scalloped punch to punch it. I used a corner rounder to round the corners at the bottom.
I adhered the pieces together and add it to the lid of my box using snail. I added one of the green bows form the Season of Gltiz Mini Bows from the holiday catalog.
