Diorama Christmas card with Ink Blending

Hi everyone!

Happy Wednesday!  Today I have a diorama/shadow box card for you. This is the first time I have ever done one and it's super easy and very striking!

I used the Night in Bethlehem Bundle from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. Isn't it gorgeous? Let me talk you through how I made it!

I started this card by ink blending the background. I know that you can't see much of it in the photos, but in person it's gorgeous. I used Berry Burst, Island Indigo and Night of Navy ink to create my night sky. I also used those colors for my card layers.

I die cut both cityscapes, Mary and Joseph, the Shepard and the star from the Copper Foil Sheets.  I am obsessed with copper this season and I love how it pairs with these jeweled toned papers.

Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder and added it to the card! To see exactly how this card came together, watch the video below or over at Youtube!

Thanks so much for stamping with me today!  Check out the supplies, video and my monthly specials below!
