Hello Friend

Hi everyone!

I am back today with another card featuring this fabulous floral from the Wood Words stamp set. You will find this stamp set in the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog!

Today's card was inspired by a few cards that I saw on Pinterest.  Of course, I had to make it in one of my most favorite color combos ever: Elegant Eggplant and Pool Party!

This card looks very involved, but it was really quite simple to make!

The first step in making this card was to heat emboss the floral onto the card base. I love the stark contrast between the crisp white and the deep purple!

After embossing, I stamped the floral onto my Whisper White layer using Elegant Eggplant ink. Before adhering all the layers together, I added a piece of this yummy Pool Party 3/8"Shimmer Ribbon. This is probably the first time that I have purchased a ribbon in every color available!  I love it!

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the Wood Words stamp set in Pool Party and punched it using the Classic Label Punch. A couple of Glitter Enamel Dots add the final touch!

Thank you so much for stopping by to craft with me!  It's a new month so check out my newest promotions, print the recipe and watch the video all below!
