Once upon a time, an elf made a card out of copper and Island Indigo and it's been a favorite color combination ever since. Luckily for you, that's not where the story ends! How's that for cheese?!?
In all seriousness, I am loving this Snowflake Sentiments Bundle from the new 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog! After seeing the new Year of Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper, I knew I had to make a card using this color palette!
I started this card with an Island Indigo card base. I added my usual Whisper White layer to the inside and used the Stitched Shape Framelits to cut my sentiment circles. I adhered a piece of the Copper Foil Paper to the Multi-purpose Adhesive Sheets. These are a life saver with this intricate snowflake die.
I cut a piece of the dsp at 1 x 5 1/4 and added a piece of the 1/4" Copper Trim before adhering the paper down. I added the snowflake border after die cutting it using the Precision Base Plate. You really want this plate to help you cut through all the small detailing of this die.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment with the Copper Embossing Powder, adhered my circles using Stampin' Dimensionals, and added a bow with glue dots!
