Quirky Critters Narwhal Birthday

Hi everyone!

Oh my word, I had such a fun week using the Quirky Critters stamp set from the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog! I had so much fun crafting with this set!

I really wanted to showcase the narwhal with a water scene. Hopefully, I did the little guy justice!

I started this card with a Soft Sky card base. I used a piece of Pacific Point for the layer under the "waves."

I used the Swirly Scribbles thinlits to cut the sun out of Daffodil Delight and the waves out of Marina Mist.

I brought in the Up and Away framelits to cut out the clouds. For the biggest cloud, I pulled out my Tree Builder punch! I wanted to add in a punch of read to complete the primary colors! I pulled in the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and colored the main image using a bit of gray and a pop of Real Red.

It's a completely different type of card for me, but I think it turned out fun and cheerful. What do you think?

Thanks so much for crafting with me!  Check out my July Specials down below!
