Hi everyone!
Happy Monday! I can say that because I have a short week! Although, I do wish everyone a happy Monday!
Today, I am back with another card using the Carousel Birthday from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog! I was really iffy about this stamp set, but now I am in love!
The idea for this card popped in my head and it took me a minute to figure out how I wanted to do it! Finally, I decided to stamp the image on the background using Smoky Slate. I really wanted the focal image to pop and I think using a soft neutral really allows that to happen!
I stamped the horse using Memento Ink and used my Stampin' Write Markers to color it. I really love how it turned out. I also love that you can go completely over the top with this image because real carousel horses are very elaborate! Let your imagination run with this one!
I wanted to ensure that I added some dimensions to this card since it's very simplistic. I popped the layer and the focal image using Stampin' Dimensionals?
What do you think? Is this a stamp set that you own or would love to have? Leave me a comment and let me know!
