The Jolly Fat Elf: Basket Bunch Easter Note Card

Well, hello y'all :)

Welcome back to another week using the Basket Bunch Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up! Easter is just a few short weeks away and I thought this card would be PERFECT to make if you have friends, kiddos, etc. who you want to send "Hoppy Easter" cheer.

This card was created using left over pieces from my card from last week. That's a great tip. If you are working with a bundle that has a lot of pieces and parts, stamp a lot of each image and either cut them out or have them ready to color and cut out! It will make your crafting, especially mass producing, go so much quicker!

I started this project with our Whisper White Notecards. They are awesome. They include envelopes and are just the perfect size for simple greetings and images such as these.

I used the stamp set called Suite Sayings for the Easter greeting. You can approach this in 2 ways. The first way is to just cover the other words on the stamp set using washi or maybe a post it note. The second way is to perform stamp surgery! I promise it's not as scary as it seems. I cut the sentiment apart and stamped Easter using Chocolate Chip Ink. I used a pink pen to add the "hoppy."

I added a really cute bunny that I had colored with the new Watercolor Pencils from Stampin' Up! You guys watched me color the eggs last week! The 2 eggs in the back were added with snail. I popped up the bunny and pink egg using Stampin' Dimensionals!
