Stampin' Up! Star of Light Bundle Christmas Card

Hi everyone!

I am back today to share the card that I made in Monday's live stream on my Facebook page! If you missed the live stream, you can view the video by clicking the link!

The Starlight Bundle from Stampin' Up! is one of my most favorite products in the 2016 Stampin' Up! Holiday CatalogWe Three Kings is one a favorite song of mine.  Would you believe that the California Raisins Claymation Christmas version is my favorite? Well, it is :)

For this card, I knew that I wanted one that would make a statement.  I started with a piece of Night of Navy card stock that I cut at 7 x 9.  I scored it at 3 1/2 to create a 3 1/2 x 9 inch card. This is not a standard card size, but it is a card that will find in a standard sized business envelope.  As an aside, I love to get the ones from the Dollar Tree.  Theirs has the adhesive strip and I don't have to lick anything. Bleck!

The Whisper White layers for this card were cut at 3 1/4 x 8 3/4.  I added the inside layer to the card base using snail. If you feel like you need an extra second or two to move things around, try the Multipurpose glue!

The outside of the card is where the magic happened!  I used the Heat and Stick Powder from Stampin' Up!, Versamark ink and the Heat Tool to melt the powder onto the edges of the card base.  Once melted, I added the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and heated again to set. Isn't it so sparkly?!?  I'm sorry.  I believe glitter is for Christmas and Christmas should be sparkly...but that's just me!

I used Night of Navy ink to stamp the swirl from the stamp set.  I stamped it on the edge of one side.  I flipped the layer around and stamped it again on the other side.

I used the coordinating framelits to cut out the Silver Glimmer Paper and Night of Navy card stock. Isn't it gorgeous! I stacked all of the stars together using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The dimension is amazing!

I finished the card with the Glitter Ribbon (which is currently on sale.)
