Stampin' Up! Hello December 2016 Project Life Card Project!

Hi everyone!

I am back from the black abyss also known as bronchitis. UGH! I am feeling much better and ready to get back into creating Christmas cards for you! This week I am sharing cards that feature no stamping.  Yep, you read that correctly.  We are making some really cute cards with zero stamping!

How?  We are going to be using the Hello December 2016 Project Life Card Kit from the 2016 Holiday Catalog.  Add in some card stock, adhesive and embellishments and you have cute cards with very little effort.
The cards come in 2 different sizes 3x4 and 4 x6.  I used 2 of the 3x4 cards on this project.  I started with a Real Red card base that measure 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  I added a Whisper White layer to the inside of the card base that measures 4 x 5 1/4.

I decided to use the candy cane print because I love the contrast!  I used snail adhesive to adhere the card at an angle. I added the focal card to the base using dimensionals.  When you go with a simple card, you want to make sure that you add dimension and texture.

Speaking of texture, I finished the card by adding White Perfect Accents. You know I am obsessed with them!
