Every time I think I am going to do an easy card, get a video done in under 20 minutes and not make any mistakes, my whole world collapses like a flan in a cupboard (anyone get that reference?)
If you have been following me at all, you know that I am not a big fan of traditional Christmas colors. They bore me...ok they don't bore me, but I love trying new colors for Christmas/Holiday cards and today I wanted to use Perfect Plum and Pool Party because they remind me of my new craft room.
I TRIED!!! As you can tell from the picture, I got some ink on my fingers which drives me crazy. It really bummed me out because I didn't see any ink on my hands. Well, it wouldn't be one of my cards if I didn't screw up.
The stamping on the Real Red and Cucumber Crush went so much better until I realized I didn't leave enough room for the sentiment. So much for a 1 layer card!
I am the queen of screw ups and fixing my mistakes. We are crafting in real life and this just goes to show you that things don't always go as planned, but they still turn out in the end :)
