Festive Friday #4-Mama Elephant and WPlus9

Hi everyone,

I can't believe we are already on week 4 of the Festive Friday series.  Are you playing along?  If so, how many cards have you completed for the holidays?

I have to admit that today's card gave me some troubles....just because I couldn't decide what to do...plus my coloring was way rusty!

I really love how it turned out, though and I love this cute stamp from WPlus9.  I think he's adorable. Paper piecing the stocking was a real time saver!

Let me know what you think :)  Have any requests for future Festive Fridays?  Leave me a comment and let me know what you'd like to see :)

As always, supplies are linked down below and you can watch the video either here or on youtube!

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Coffee and Donuts for OWH

Hi everyone, I'm back with something a little different for you today. I've wanted to make cards for Operation Write Home for the last 6 or 7 months and just haven't had the time. I decided to sit down and create a set a couple of nights ago. I decided to turn on the camera and just record the creation process without any talking. Instead, I've sped up the video and played some music.

The image I used today is from Krista over at Drawn With Character!  Her images are so stinking cute!  I used the You are My Everything stamp set from the Scrappy Moms.  Such a perfect stamp set!

I'm putting more of those pocket scrapbooking cards to good use.  Make sure you search you stash for those cards you haven't used!

Finally, if you are interested in learning more about Operation Write Home, please visit their blog!   If you decide to participate, please make sure you read their guidelines.  Wink of Stella isn't normally allowed, but covering it with crystal effects/glossy accents makes it fall within the guidelines!

As always, links are down below.  You can watch the video here or over at youtube!

Thanks for stopping by!

Project Life and Stampin Up! Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

I am back with a super simple, easy and QUICK birthday card for you using the This Day Project Life cards from the Sale-a-brations catalog.  You can choose these cards for FREE when you place an order for $50 before tax and shipping.

If you're like me, you don't really scrapbook, but you drool over all of the Project Life cards and collections.  I love, love, love all the designs and colors in the Project Life sets, I just don't scrapbook,  traditionally or pocket.

These cards are PERFECT for carmakers because they come pre-cut and you can use some of the more basic cards as a background or you can use some of the shapes to stamp and highlight sentiments like I did here.

Unfortunately, I can't link to the sale-a-oration catalog, but I can link to all the great Project Life products available through Stampin Up!  You can click here to go check everyone out!

I used rich razzleberry as the card base and the 2 1/2 inch circle punch to cut out the circle on one of the 4 x 6 cards.  So simple, quick and cute!  As always, you can watch the video here or over on youtube!

Thanks for stopping by!

Festive Friday #3-Stampin Up!, Carta Bella and Hero Arts

Hi everyone,

For the third day of my Festive Friday series, I used an inspiration pic I found on Pinterest.  Such a gorgeous card and I loved the layout.  I ended up altering mine in the end, but I still love how it turned out.

Can I say that this was my first time using Island Indigo and I am HOOKED!  I especially love it with the copper embossing powder.  I can foresee myself using this color combo over and over again!

You can watch below or over at Youtube!  Supplies will be down below!
