Packaging

It's important to me that you know what to expect when you order an ornament for yourself or to give as a gift. Each ornament is individually packaged in a 4x4x4 kraft box. The ornament is nestled in paper and includes a customizable gift tag. A label for The Jolly Fat Elf graces the top.

Gift wrap for any occasion is available with pricing information here

Tis the Season

Even in March, I have Christmas on my mind.  I have a customer that will be retiring from her current position after many years at the close of this one.  She contacted me about giving ornaments to those she has worked with for so long. I was touched that she would choose my ornaments as the gifts she would give to her coworkers.

We worked together and came up with this design.  I've named it Tis the Season because it looks so much like Christmas.

This ornament features red and green everything...sequins, ribbon and cute little beads.  Its elegance and sophistication will add immense beauty to any tree.

If you would like your own version of this beautiful ornament, please email me today.

Now...for something a little different

So, what do you make for a 2 1/2 year old little boy that loves superheros?

We'll a Spiderman ornament of course!

I had so much fun making this ornament.  Kim at 733Blog asked for an ornament for her little boy and I was happy to oblige.

Spiderman, a spider web and a two sided ornament hopefully makes for a happy little boy this Easter.

Have your own little guy or girl that would love a superhero?  Please email me and we can get started on a new ornament today!

Easter Egg Winner Update

Anna over at CallMePretty received her eggs and loved them!  I am so glad.  There is always a little uncertainty when someone is receiving one of your creations and don't really know what they are getting!

Be sure to visit her blog to see what she had to say about The Jolly Fat Elf and her eggs.

Are you a fan of The Jolly Fat Elf on facebook?  If so, be on the look out for more giveaways in the future.  Not a fan, shame on you! Just kidding!  You can easily sign up by clicking the badge on the right side of the page.

It's beginning to look a lot like....Spring..right?

You may or may not know that I live in the Dallas area here in Texas.  You also may or may not know that we had a freak snow storm on Saturday.  This follows the freak blizzard we had last month.  Needless to say, all that snow had me in a Christmas state of mind. *Thank you Billy*

If you follow my postings, you know that at the end of every post I mention that if you like a design, but do not like the colors let me know and we can work out something.

Remember Lavender Love?  This beauty:

Here are two ornaments that are the same design, but in custom colors for Kim, from 733 blog, and her daughters.  I love how they both turned out, but I must admit the pink and lavender is probably my favorite of the two.

First separately and then together.

As always, if you'd like your own ornament in this style, please email me.

Also, if you haven't joined our facebook page, be sure to sign up!  We will be having regular contests as well as other goodies for members.

Jazzy Egg

Congratulations to the winner of the Easter eggs!  I've had so much fun taking a break from Christmas and working on Easter projects.

This egg reminds me of Mardi Gras.  I love the colors and different textures of the sequins.  I hope you love it too!

Want your own egg?  Feel free to email me and we can get started on designing your own egg soon!

Finally, the excitement :)

As I've mentioned, I've caught the crafting bug.  If you have to catch a bug, it's the best one in my opinion.  While crafting my ornaments, I spend time searching the web for great craft blogs for inspiration for other projects.

I found 733 quite by accident, a very happy accident!  I knew right away that I wanted to sponsor a contest for her readers.

Want to know more?  Head over to 733 Blog to find out how to enter to win your own set of Easter eggs!

Good luck!

Refer A Friend program

Here at The Jolly Fat Elf we have two ways of saving money on our products.  We offer a tremendous discount on larger sets of ornaments.  Ornaments can all be similar or very different in design.  We want to work with you to design the ornaments of your dreams :) Check here for pricing and shipping information.

The second way to save is through our refer a friend program.  Here's how it works.

Each customer that chooses to participate in the Refer a Friend program, RFP, will receive 5 business cards with a RFP code that is linked with their name.  The customer passes along the cards to friends, family, coworkers, anyone that might have an interest in our ornaments.  When a new customer completes a purchase, they will be asked if they have a Refer a Friend code.  If they do, they will enter it and the original customer receives 20% off their next order.  *Codes can not be combined for a bigger discount on one order.*  Each code will afford the customer 20% off 5 individual orders.  After your RAF code has been used 5 times, you receive a free ornament and 5 more cards with a new code for your use.

Sending your ornament as a gift straight from us?  No need to worry!  You will receive your cards separately and can choose to enroll the recipient in the Refer a Friend Program with their own RFP code.

FAQ

Is there a limit to how many ornaments I have to buy using the 20% discount?  Absolutely not...well you have to buy one of course, but you are welcome to buy as many as you want.

I want to purchase gift certificates, can I still sign up for the RFP? Yes!  Any purchase allows you to enter the Refer a Friend Program.

Who is responsible for the shipping and handling costs for my free ornament?    We are!  When we say free..we mean free!

Can my free ornament be sent to a different address or as a gift?  Yes!  Your ornament can be shipped anywhere in the US.  Keep in mind that gift wrapping is not included and will need to be purchased separately.

The Easter Bunny has offically taken over!

It's been a fun week here at The Jolly Fat Elf. I was asked to create two eggs. That's all the instruction I received. I love when I can get my creative juices flowing!

I decided to do one egg with some flair. It's fun. It's sassy. It's the egg I wanted to dye as a child. Who knew an egg could have four sides!

Egg number 2 is more elegant and sophisticated. Lovely pastel beads and sequins bring life to this lovely shape.

I hope that you enjoy this little break from Christmas. If you'd like you're own eggs, please email me at thejollyfatelf@yahoo.com

For guaranteed Easter delivery, please email me by Friday, March 12th.
